MADRE is an international women’s human rights organization that works in partnership with community-based women’s organizations worldwide to address issues of health and reproductive rights, economic development, education and other human rights. We provide resources and training to enable our sister organizations to meet these goals by addressing immediate needs in their communities and developing long-term solutions to the crises they face.
Direct Relief is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides medical assistance to people around the world who have been affected by poverty, natural disasters, and civil unrest. Thanks to generous material and financial contributions from individuals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical equipment manufacturers, Direct Relief can work with healthcare professionals and organizations on the ground and equip them with the essential medical supplies and equipment that they need to help people recover from a disaster.
The Global Health Media Project aims to help health workers save lives by using advances in information and communication technologies to make what was impossible yesterday, possible today. Our videos will be disseminated as broadly as possible — free of charge — especially to reach low-resource, often isolated health workers who have no other access to this clinical information. Our global delivery strategy is relevant now and favorably positioned for the rapid expansion of connectivity in the developing world.
